Managing and viewing a clan
Starting or Joining a Clan
Every registered player will have the ability to either join a clan or start a new one unless they are in the maximum amount of clans allowed ( currently 8 ). Joining requires an invitation from a clan captain however any player can start a new clan.

By creating a new clan you are also accepting the role of clan captain which includes all privileges and duties on the WGL site and upcoming seasons. Take note that you will be responsible for all your recruit's actions in the future and this is a big responsibility.

Recruiting
As a captain, by clicking the ‘Manage Your Clan’ link on the user menu (left) you will be able to send new invitations to a list of all players currently available on the WGL. Here you can also kick members from your team, or delete invitations previously sent. Always remember to click the ‘Save’ icon at the top right after making any changes.

Stepping down or sharing the role of captain
Another feature within the ‘Manage Your Clan’ page is the ability to step down as a captain. You can do this by unticking the checkbox to the right of your name and then clicking save. However, this will not be possible if you are the only captain within the clan.

By ticking a box next to one of your clan members names and then saving, you will then make that player a captain. Remember, you cannot delete fellow captains so do this with caution.

Editing your clan page
Below the Clan Member section, you’ll also see plenty of options to customize the look and feel of your personal clan page. Your profile page will become available to view once participating in an active league - and will show off your clan members list and statistics such as your previous 6 games (wins and losses).

A key element to giving your clan an identity throughout the site is to upload your clan badge. We recommend using a 250px x 250px square canvas, and save your image as a .PNG on a transparent background. If you have any problems or queries, please ask below and feel free to ask around for help when creating your own.

Registering your clan into a league
A clan captain must enroll your team into a season whilst the season registration is open. Once doing this the team will appear as a roster on the 'Teams' page for that season.

Once you have registered you ARE NOT automatically signed to play for that team within that season. It is down to both you and your members to choose who to play for in what specific season through the 'Clan Preferences' page on the left.

Additional Notes:
- When signing players as a captain remember that if the Transfer Window is currently closed whilst your clan is in an active Season, no player will be able to accept an invite to join your clan until the season has finished and the Transfer Window is open.

- Under rare circumstances will a player be able to join a clan during a season. Please contact an admin if you have any problems.

Fixtures and submitting results
Things have evolved since the previous method of sorting out your fixtures, here's a quick run-through of how it works...

As you can see, this doesn't happen within the forums anymore. Once your clan is all set up, and you have registered to an available season - the season admin will place you in a division and arrange the fixtures maps and modes. Once this has taken place (and your clan has an upcoming fixture), the clan captain will see a link appear in their user menu called 'Fixtures/Results'. This is their own personal fixtures organizer.

Here you can select a season/week and you'll be shown a game panel including date, time and score. On the right will be two check boxes - one to confirm the date, the other to confirm the results.

Each of these fixtures will now have it's own discussion board, which you can get to by either clicking the 'Discuss this match' button, or from the fixtures list (red speech bubble). Chat to your opponent on this page and agree on a date.

It is now the home-team's duty to select the agreed date and time on their fixtures organizer. The away team must then confirm this by ticking the check-box.

The fixture's upcoming date and time will now be locked down and be shown on other pages throughout the site.

After playing your game, repeat this process again for the results, and once locked down the results will update the tables automatically.

If you do have any problems or disputes send a message to your season admin.
